We prioritize and value the lived experiences of those in our local community and believe that these experiences, these stories, can radically improve the success of local change initiatives when put into dialogue with one another.
Our goal is to gain a deeper more nuanced understanding of what matters to people in the local community, so that their experiences can be used as contextual data to better inform local change initiatives.
We use broad, but targeted, interview questions to gather experiences and stories from local community members, as well as open calls for individuals to share their experiences.
We share the stories of community with local organizations advocating for social, economic, and political change, so they can have a richer understanding of what matters to the members of the community and what changes will affect them the most.
If you have a story to share, please visit our share page to see what questions we are currently asking or contact us with a topic you wish to see explored.
Our partners work in a variety of different fields, and each brings a unique skillset to the table. Some of our partners pioneer the outreach required to gather stories from the community, while others assist in historical research required to gain insights from prior generations.
Many of our partners are local leaders advocating for social, economic, and political change.
If you or your company is interested in partnering with us, please reach out and we will open a conversation about how we can work together.
